Clinician, Outpatient, YFS

We’re looking for an Outpatient Clinician to join the Youth & Family Services team at 1012 W. Abriendo in Pueblo.

What You’d Be Doing

As an Outpatient Clinician at Youth & Family Services you would be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team working to promote healthy youth and families in an outpatient environment. Your work in case management and outpatient therapy for individuals and families means you would have rewarding opportunities to directly enhance the wellbeing of our community now and in the future.

Specifically, the Outpatient Clinician

  • Conducts intake and other forms of assessment, including residential and risk assessments;
  • Performs professional interpretation and clinical analysis of assessment data to develop effective treatment plans;
  • Provides individual and family therapy services;
  • Provides case management services to multidisciplinary teams, including collaborative and integrative services with community partners;
  • Monitors client placement, discharge planning, and step-down services for youth and their family;
  • Meets or exceeds established monthly productivity standards for billable services;
  • Maintains accurate and current records in compliance with our standards;
  • Maintains competency and proficiency with our electronic health record;
  • Works well in collaboration with community providers as well as health care professionals; and
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the program director and supervisor.

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • Graduate degree in social work, psychology, or a closely related field
  • Colorado professional license (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or license eligible
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records
  • Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours

What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves

  • At least one year of mental healthcare experience
  • Experience providing substance abuse treatment, or CAC or LAC credentials
  • Spanish language skills
