Medication Delivery Driver, PRN

We’re looking for a Medication Delivery Driver, PRN to join the Community Access Recovery and Engagement (CARE) team at 41 Montebello Road in Pueblo.

What You’d Be Doing

As a member of our PRN Medication Delivery Driver team, you would be instrumental in serving our clients and meeting their medication delivery needs. You would monitor medications for accuracy, work closely with the pharmacy to prepare medications for delivery, and employ excellent driving skills to assure the timely delivery of needed medication. 

The PRN Medication Delivery Driver is responsible for the following:

  • Daily medication route consisting of the delivery to and observation of clients taking daily medications;
  • Assisting with monitoring/auditing medications for accuracy before delivery;
  • Coordinating services with the pharmacy to ensure medications are packed correctly and ready for delivery;
  • Completing all required trainings satisfactorily;
  • Keeping accurate, complete, and up-to-date records;
  • Maintaining competency and proficiency with our electronic health records systems;
  • Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with other community partners;
  • Acting as an active team member by assisting with the transportation of CARE/transition clients; and
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the program director or clinical supervisor.

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience serving those with mental health challenges
  • Primary residence in Pueblo County
  • Valid Colorado driver license and access to reliable transportation (you will be asked to provide your DMV driving record)
  • Computer literacy
  • Willing to work all medication delivery shifts including day, evening, and weekends

What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves

  • Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) credential
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Spanish language skills
