Quality Improvement Analyst

Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole-person care. With almost 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, case managers, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

We’re looking for a Quality Improvement (QI) Analyst to join us at our facility at 41 Montebello Road in Pueblo.

What You’d Be Doing

As the QI Analyst you would be a vital member of our QI team working to review and audit electronic documentation in the support of our mission to provide high-quality care to our clients and community. You would be using evidence-based practices to develop and implement the strategies for quality improvement that are central to the integrity of our enterprise.

Specifically, the QI Analyst

  • Conducts technical reviews of electronic clinical records to assure appropriate service provision, documentation, and billing;
  • Ensures that services provided conform to industry standards of care, Health Solutions’ policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and the requirements of our funding and payor sources;
  • Reviews billing activities according the Colorado Uniform Service Coding Manual and payor rules;
  • Designs and submits daily, weekly, and quarterly reports of audits and reviews using a variety of electronic tools;
  • Develops intervention strategies based on the results of audits and reviews;
  • Advises the director of quality regarding quality improvement needs in service delivery, documentation, and billing for mental health services;
  • Receives and resolves client grievances; and
  • Performs other duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • Baccalaureate degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • General proficiency in computing and keyboarding
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Ability to read computer screens without impairment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to review and evaluate records and record findings
  • Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours

What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves

  • Graduate degree
  • Colorado professional license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Experience working in a health-related field
